The Story
How this challenge was approached and solved
Initiated an accessibility audit using automated tools and manual testing with screen readers. Created an accessibility checklist for designers and developers, conducted training sessions, and established a review process. Fixed 200+ accessibility issues including color contrast, keyboard navigation, ARIA labels, and focus management. The product now passes WCAG 2.1 AA standards and is usable by people with disabilities. This also improved SEO and reduced legal risk.
